- Can I try the Newcomers Club of Saddleback Valley before I join?
- All prospective members are allowed to attend two (2) coffees and two (2) luncheons (monthly luncheon and/ or Know Your Neighbor) before joining. Only members can participate in club activities unless otherwise specified.
- What do I get for my membership dues?
- Membership includes the monthly newsletter, and the yearly membership directory. Mailed newsletters are an additional cost.
- What is the age range of the Newcomer Members?
- All ages are welcome to join. Generally our members are 45 years and older.
- Are ladies welcome from outside of the Saddleback area?
- Yes we do! Although the majority of our members are from the Saddleback Valley area, some members hail from Irvine, Laguna Beach and Huntington Beach.
- How do I go about making friends?
- BE ACTIVE! Go to our monthly programs, attend interest groups, join a committee, consider a Board position and don’t forget our fun social events!
- Are friends and husbands included in the activities?
- The TGIF, Holiday Gala and specified special events do allow for husbands, significant others and friends to attend.
- Do I have to pay for each interest group individually?
- Some interest groups have varying costs to support the interest group’s activities.
- Can I put advertisements in the newsletter?
- According to the “Newcomers’ Information Policy”, the newsletter is not to be used to advertise, promote or introduce your business or that of another. Personal member information is for Club business only. Email addresses, phone numbers and home addresses are not to be shared outside of the Club.
